Here is the letter I’ve written to Democratic Presidential candidate Kamala Harris to get her to add ending the War on Drugs, Doctors and Patients to her platform.  Feel free to send it to her as well, auditing it to fit your situation.

Dear Vice president Harris:

There is something you must do, not only to ensure winning the election, but to not be a hypocrite.  Your message has been that the government should stay out of control of our body and out of the doctor’s office.  You say this in connection with the abortion issue.  But there is another issue that is much broader and more devastating.  And, in fact, you’ve been a party to it in the past.  That is the War on Drugs.  You also need to support the repeal of the Controlled Substance Act.  No drug causes addiction. The War on Drugs was simply a racist agenda to disenfranchise minorities.  However, in the last 20 years it has been turned against good, compassionate medical practitioners treating legitimate patients, simply to confiscate their assets and give the government agents their salaries. This must end. President Biden spoke about the freeing of innocent citizens when he made the deal with Russia to release 7 prisoners recently.  But we, in America, have incarcerated hundreds of thousands of innocent citizens, ruining their lives and those of their families, destroying people for generations to come.  Please don’t be a hypocrite.  Put in your platform the repeal of the Controlled Substance Act and the exoneration of all those attacked illegally by the government based on what they do to their own body.

Here is a list of almost 100 medical professionals whose life you affected illegally, even to the point of death. As you can see, most of those targeted are minorities. And the repercussions will affect their progeny for four generations due to the stress in their lives.

As part of the DOJ, you know that they work now on a “Do whatever works to win” agenda, including illegal misconduct such as creating a crime that doesn’t exist, forced perjury, withholding exculpatory evidence, and actual law-breaking.  You were probably even part of that as the Attorney General.  After all, it got you the Senate seat.  But this immoral, undemocratic behavior must end. And if it continues, there must be repercussions.  To that end, you should add to your platform the removal of actual or implied immunity from government officials who break the law.
