Robin A Cox, DO, 63, a Family Medicine Specialist in Rogers, Arkansas, is another victim of government attack on physicians for money. Arkansas mounted a statewide effort to prosecute doctors for treating pain because, according to the CDC, Arkansas had the second-highest opioid prescription rate in 2017, falling only behind Alabama.

Dr. Cox graduated from medical school with honors in 1982, having therefore more than 38 years of experience in FAMILY MEDICINE. Dr. Cox worked at the Arkansas Medical Clinic in Rogers, AR. The clinic opened in May, 2018. Through government access to the prescription drug monitoring data, she was targeted as an “over-prescriber”. The charge of making a false statement pertained a prescription that she provided to a patient outside of the office.

Following the usual cookie cutter techniques to contaminate the jury pool, the government used the “numbers” tactic to smear Dr. Cox in the media, giving their calculated number of pills prescribed, and then how much those pills would be worth on the black market—over $3 million.  So what if the pills were for legitimate patients for legitimate pain. They don’t care. They have an agenda to attack doctors. The government with the media’s help, turns every prescribed opioid into a street drug. So people in America think

1. Opioids cause addiction
2. Pain patients are addicts
3. Doctors give opioids to addicts
4. Doctors are therefore drug pushers, and that makes them criminals.

When you actually crunch the numbers, the number of pills calculates out to 420 per month that would allow 100 patients to have 4 pills per day.  Since oxycodone can be prescribed legitimately even with the asinine CDC guidelines, a patient could legitimately receive 6 pills per day.  So Dr. Cox has basically not done anything out of the usual course of professional practice.

But on May 6, 2020, Dr. Robin Ann Cox pleaded guilty to one count of prescribing without a legitimate medical purpose outside the scope of a professional practice. So now another compassionate doctor’s life and livelihood is destroyed, pain patients are forced to the street, and the REAL cause of drug abuse is ignored so government agencies can make money off of doctor’s backs. The evil ones that will someday receive the Lord’s judgement for their atrocities are Duane Kees, former USA, Justin King, DEA agent; and David Clay Fowlkes, acting USA. Other law enforcement agencies receiving a piece of the pie in the confiscation of her assets are the FBI, DHHS, Office of Inspector General (HHS), and the Texarkana, Springdale, and Rogers Police Departments.  Special Assistant United States Attorney Anne Gardner is prosecuting the case for the United States.

So what is the answer to these indiscriminate attacks on compassionate doctors across the country?  The only answer is to end the propaganda. And the only way to do that is to spread the truth. Otherwise, the suffering will continue and it will take generations to turn this around.

Dr. Cox was sentenced to 3 years in prison.  She was released from prison on 1/9/2023.

Addendum:

I have failed in my mission to end these attacks on doctors and pain patients. Through John Bevere’s book The Bait of Satan, I have figured out why—my lack of forgiveness to those who attacked me. As in Mark 11: 24-26:

Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.

And when you do not do the will of the Father, you are estranged from him and he will ignore you.  So we all must forgive the agents who attacked us in order for things to be made right through any of our works.

Jesus said

“Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.”

But we cannot lay down our lives for God unless we know Him well enough to trust Him. We must have the assurance that He would never do anything to harm us. He always looks out for what He knows is in our best interest. As a nation, those of us suffering from these attacks must understand that we are serving as God’s messengers of love.  We must forgive those who persecute us and love them instead, following God’s will for us. Then and only then will we see fruits from our labor.

So I hope that everyone who has suffered from what happened to Dr. Cox can trust the Lord, forgive those who have hurt you, and help bring this country back to the God-fearing country that our forefathers founded. Then, and only then, can you be a part of the effort to stop these attacks. I look forward to that day.
