The first bill we have received notice of is H.R. 1026, sponsored by Greg Stanton, rep for Arizona district 9. This would appear to be a repeat of HR 2732, the bill he introduced in 2019.
The reason for introducing this bill is obvious—the spread of the government propaganda that opioids cause addiction. We need to inform Mr. Stanton, as well as all legislators, of the truth—that no drug causes addiction, and what the REAL cause is.
H.R. 1026 does not have text published yet, but the former bill stated:

“Lessening Addiction By Enhancing Labeling Opioids Act of 2019”or the “LABEL Opioids Act”
To amend the Controlled Substances Act to require warning labels for prescription opioids, and for other purposes.
SEC. 2. Amendment.
(a) In general.—Section 305(c) of the Controlled Substances Act (21 U.S.C. 825(c)) is amended by adding at the end the following:
“(2) The label of any container or package containing an opioid or opiate listed in schedule II, III, IV, or V shall, when dispensed (other than administered) to or for a patient, contain a clear, concise warning, in a manner specified by the Secretary by regulation, that the opioids or opiates dispensed can cause dependence, addiction, and overdose.”.

The Controlled Substance Act needs to be repealed. It was created as a racist instrument to disenfranchise Blacks and minorities. The entire history against drugs was racist. Now that systemic racism is being recognized, these government actions against minorities needs to end. We should have learned through prohibition that criminalizing a product simply leads to the black market. This should be obvious to you, from the overdoses due to illicit fentanyl in the street drugs that legitimate patients are being forced to use because of the illegitimate attacks on good, caring, compassionate physicians treating pain.
Please learn the truth, and stop spreading propaganda that is harming one-third of the population.

Drugs have been blamed for addiction for purely racist reasons. By criminalizing drugs, blacks and orientals could be disenfranchised. This ploy is over 100 years old and needs to be recognized and stopped. Innocent people are sitting in prison cells. The border problem is due to the black market created by criminalizing drugs.

The bill was referred to the Energy and Commerce Committee and the Judiciary Committee. Members of the committees involved with opioids and health care will be listed on the Doctorsofcourage membership site. Last time I checked, they hadn’t been publicized yet. But when they are, I will put them on the site.

When will these people realize there are two types of opioid users. ONE, people living with crippling pain, that need them in order to get out of bed and have even a minimal quality of life. Those are the people that take them as directed. They never fail a drug teat, they never run out early and they never search the streets to get loaded.
Then there are the drug addicts. They lied to drs to get drugs. They graduated to heroin and other illegal drugs when the drs said NO. Then those addicts overdosed and or died. The parents of those addicts needed someone to blame, other then thier children for making stupid choices, so they blamed drs, drug companies and pharmacies. Oh they never blamed themselves either. THEY ALL NEED TO WAKE THE F UP. 18 us million people are forced to pay the price for thier idiotic kids and thier own denial. They also want to make a buck like kolodney and those PROP MORONS. Then you need to learn what will change the current situation. This situation was created by the government through rogue DOJ instructions, creating crime where there is none, because they are allowed to. But we hold the key to success teaching the truth that can put the propaganda to rest, if people such as yourself would just learn it and share it.
We have seen all the ‘good” that warning labels on Tobacco product – CAUSES CANCER – since they were put on the packs in the early 60’s. Addicting label should be put on alcohol as well… more people die from the use/abuse of alcohol every yr than

True on both tobacco and alcohol causing more disease and death, but they don’t cause addiction. I tried smoking as a teenager to try to get my boyfriend to quit. I was not of the miasm for addiction, so it did nothing for me. If I had been luetic, I probably would have become a smoker. I drink alcohol 2-3 times per week. Granted it is acidifying, but my diet is alkaline enough to handle it, and I enjoy an occasional glass of Chardonnay. My grandfather was an alcoholic. So I have the genetic propensity. But again, I’m not luetic, so I don’t become addicted. Giving birth to my firstborn, I was given IV morphine. I felt the rush. I didn’t like it. If I had been luetic, I would probably have become an addict at that point. But I’m not, and I didn’t. There is an answer to addiction. There is a cause to addiction. We simply have to accept a different, more healthy, paradigm of medicine that has been proven without change for 300 years, while allopathic medicine can’t keep any of their principles straight. Cholesterol causes heart disease? Proven wrong. The brain can’t change? Neurons can’t regenerate? Proven wrong. Here, take this pill. Soon to be proven wrong.
