Nkanga Nkanga, MD

Dr. Nkanga Nkanga, 65, an internist with 37 years of medical experience in Staten Island, NY, is another victim of gross government violation of the law. According to the Controlled Substance Act, §802(56)(c), only the DOCTOR can determine what is legitimate medical practice. That’s because the doctor is doing the evaluation of history, presentation, and complaint. But, as in the course of more and more physicians, government agents with only a high school education are now determining that a doctor’s decision is not “legitimate”, and the DOJ, also not a doctor, is stating that Dr. Nkanga’s prescriptions were “medically unnecessary”. In the process, they spout numbers, that when you actually divide by time, the doctor is prescribing the appropriate amount for that medication, or even less.

Then they also try to criminalize the fact that medicine is a business, during which the doctor makes enough money to pay his business expenses, staff salaries, insurance, and have an income. Having a legitimate business in America is not a crime. Or should President Trump watch out?

One of the methods that the government uses to criminalize a doctor is to have an undercover agent visit. Then that agent lies about what was said or done by the doctor.  This is rampant, and needs to be exposed. What happened to the Rule of Law in government justice?  It doesn’t exist anymore. It is now “Do what you have to do to get a conviction.” And the courts turn a blind eye to what the prosecution is doing. Whether that is ignorance or collusion is hard to say.

According to one press report, Dr. Nkanga regularly prescribed over 100 oxycodone pills per patient per month until July 2018 when he reduced all patients’ monthly allotment, telling one patient he was “very worried” about scrutiny from law enforcement.  Now 120 pills per month is a standard amount for chronic pain to stay controlled, because oxycodone should be dosed every 4-6 hours to stay at stable levels in the body. And to explain to a patient that you were cutting the amount back because of fear of law enforcement should be completely understood. But the government, through media frenzy, paints this as being abnormal. They write propaganda like “flooded the state with more than *** oxycodone pills”, trying to tamper with the jury pool and make people believe the doctor was doing something wrong.

And then the US Attorney, Geoffrey Berman, tries to promote himself or get bonuses by misrepresenting the Controlled Substance Act, referring to the doctor as a drug dealer in a white coat, working out of greed.  Folks, it’s not the doctors that have the greed, it is the DOJ. Unable to attack and forfeit the assets of the drug cartels in the 80’s and 90’s, they turned on doctors as low hanging fruit.

Willie Sutton, known as Slick Willie, was one of America’s most famous bank robbers of the 1920’s, stealing over $2 million. Someone once asked Slick Willie why he robbed banks. His reply was priceless.

“Because that’s where the money is!”

And that is why the government is attacking doctors! One more reason—they don’t have to face guns when they enter the building. What a bunch of arses.

Addendum:

Dr. Nkanga didn’t take our advice. He took a plea in October, 2019, was sentenced to 3 years.  He was released from prison on January 9, 2023.

Addendum:

I have failed in my mission to end these attacks on doctors and pain patients. Through John Bevere’s book The Bait of Satan, I have figured out why—my lack of forgiveness to those who attacked me. As in Mark 11: 24-26:

Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespassed. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.

And when you do not do the will of the Father, you are estranged from him and he will ignore you.  So we all must forgive the agents who attacked us in order for things to be made right through any of our works.

Jesus said

“Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.”

But we cannot lay down our lives for God unless we know Him well enough to trust Him. We must have the assurance that He would never do anything to harm us. He always looks out for what He knows is in our best interest. As a nation, those of us suffering from these attacks must understand that we are serving as God’s messengers of love.  We must forgive those who persecute us and love them instead, following God’s will for us. Then and only then will we see fruits from our labor.

So I hope that everyone who has suffered from what happened to Dr. Nkanga can trust the Lord, forgive those who have hurt you, and help bring this country back to the God-fearing country that our forefathers founded. Then, and only then, can you be a part of the effort to stop these attacks. I look forward to that day.
